About LVMI Calculator

What we do

LVMI Calculator helps clinicians, students, and patients explore the Devereux linear-dimension formula, body-surface-area indexing, relative wall thickness, and common LV geometry categories.

It is designed as an educational and clinical decision-support aid. Measurements should be acquired and interpreted by qualified professionals using the complete clinical context.

Reference standard

The calculator uses the ASE/EACVI reference ranges described by Lang and colleagues and the Devereux et al. formula. See the methodology on the home page.
